As for the Atlanta hit.  That’s wasnt on a qb sliding and giving himself up.  It was on a defenseless receiver and arguably much hard to aviod the helmet to helmet contact.  I’m not saying he couldn’t have altered his angle but at that speed and not having assurance as to what direction the receiver would move it was tougher.  The right call was made I think.

Williams could have easily pulled up.  He choose not to he got ejected and deserved it.

Let's be factual. Luck was not sliding as MJ was tackling him from behind. But, Williams should have been ejected. To the letter of the rule, at a minimum the game should have been stopped to review it. In my mind, it was an offense Poole should have been ejected, A QB is not supposed to get a break as a runner, Luck got one if you compare the Walton helmet to helmet hit.

Free Agency ain't over until it is over.

First 6 years BB - 41 wins and 54 losses with 1-1 playoff record with 2 teams Browns and Pats

Just in general there were some hits and plays that made me think Atlanta is either indisciplined or even coached to be dirty. Wish the refs had called it a little tighter.

It was Kazee, he was doing it the whole game. Think he was ejected a couple weeks ago for it. Not 100% sure though

Kazee had about 5 electable hits.  The one against Boyd blew my mind that it wasn't called.

No, he didnt have to hit him at all. Im not saying it was worse than the hit on Luck, but he intentionally lowered his helmet after he saw the ball wasnt caught and hit him. Not cause for ejection but it was dirty.

You left out on a sliding QB named Andrew Luck...

Williams’s hit also came in the first quarter of a first game on the season. It came in a game where neither team was expected to contend for the playoffs and the penalty was for hitting a popular franchise QB playing for the first time in almost 2 years.

The penalty was as much a message to the entire NFL that they were serious abt enforcing the helmet to helmet as it was against Williams and the Bengals
