Browns easy beating of Steelers scare me.
#21
I seriously doubt the Steelers have a winning season. The Browns beating them doesn't prove much.

They're a 4 or 5 win team this year. Losing to them (shoulda coulda woulda) is unacceptable...
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Week 4 the Steelers play the Jets at Pitt.

Week 3 we play the Jets.

Week 4 we play the Fins.

After week 4 we can assume whether they will win 4 or 5 games this year or us by the way.

On that note the Steelers beating us also doesn't prove much.

That may be, but the Stooler game is a prime example of players costing us a game we should've won easily. The definition of beating yourself, in fact.

Did you even read my post about how the Stains "completely dominated them the 2nd half"?

juggernaut before they even get Watson playing for them. They have a top roster and a great running game so
they will be tough and they did sweep us last year even if one game was a gimme.

I don't know. Part of me hopes, they're playing REALLY well with Brisset at QB so that it becomes even more noticeable when Watson plays and plays poorly due to not playing for almost 2 years. I want the Browns to really regret all that they gave up for Watson.

Yes, that's why I quoted your post. We also completely dominated them in the 2nd half. So I don't get why using the Browns dominating in the second half is scary when we didnthe same thing.

Makes sense since we're Bengals fans and not Browns fans. We want the Bengals to win and the Browns to lose. If Watson sucks, then the Browns have a long time to pay a sucky QB which only hurts their roster.

I was strictly referring to the Browns/Steelers game and the poster who said the Browns didn't dominate the Steelers. I wasn't even talking about the Bengals/Steelers.

You can't make much of a judgment from one game in the NFL. Screwy things happen. Jags and Giants look like world beaters headed for the Super Bowl. Personally, I'm not unloading our checking account on that bet.

They said on NFL radio the other day the Stealers are, since drafting Watt, 0-7 in game where he did not play. He is basically their entire defense.

NFL is all about the flavor the week. Cinci. had 3- 2 game losing streaks last season. Almost this entire board said they're toast after the 0-2 start, fire ZT, JB has issues, not tough enough, etc.Comical.

Oh, I get what you're saying now. The original poster was talking about being scared of the Browns because of how they beat the Steelers so I thought you were discussing that same thing. Which I was saying we both dominated the Steelers in the second half.

The Steelers are terrible. They are one of the worst teams in the league.

Minkah and Heyward are also both studs, unfortunately.

From watching our game and the highlights from the other Steelers games, honestly, they really just need a good QB. Micth just isn't the answer, he's not taking many shots down the field which allows opposing defenses to "cheat" up into the box to pretty much stop Najee Harris from getting any big yards.

I mean, I'm glad and I really hope Pickett is very Mitch-like when he makes his Steelers debut.

They are, but evidently if those numbers they gave on the radio are correct, they can't carry the defense without Watt.

And, the Browns may be without Mile Garrett for a while due to him crashing his Porsche. His agent says no broken bones, but if he's got whiplash or anything he may be out a couple of weeks. (Glad he's ok along with hiis female passenger, but I won't mind if he sits on the couch for a couple of weeks to recover)

The stealers already have a head to head against the Bengals.. They can still sweep the browns..
