Thank you for the update.

A friend made me a bunch of deer chili the other week. It was good - but def has a different flavor profile from beef.

For sure! A couple weeks ago I made a crockpot of elk chili. That was “differ’nt” tasting too but REALLY good. All the added spices sort of mask the gamey taste of both.

I'm in Hawaii for a work trip, so game starts at 2:15. I'll have to find an off site "meeting" I need to attend and find a sports bar.

It's a video game. I spend most Bengals games in my computer room so my wife can watch what she wants, doesn't have to hear me yelling and hooting and hollering, and if the games go sideways I have video games on hand to distract me.

Lol ever see someone go through all the stages of acceptance quickly and you can see every emotion on their face?

I got to see that late last week when I made deer steak and eggs for breakfast and didnt tell the new girlfriend what it was until she was half way in telling me how good it was...
I have the Heart of a Lion! I also have a massive fine and a lifetime ban from the Pittsburgh Zoo...

In the country, so in 21 years here I have never had a trick or treater. My son, 25, who isn't a sports fan, wants to watch the game with me tonight.

My wife is in New York with family, and is going to her brothers house to watch it on the 85 inch TV. He's a Packers fan so last night didn't go well for him, but they'll be cheering for the Bengals tonight.

I'm going to disappear this year away from Halloween. I live on a small cul-de-sac anyway. I'll turn the lights off so that no-one walks up my path way. I'll be at a casino for couple of hours with the other sickies. Since Halloween runs 6-8 here, and the game begins at 815, I'll be cutting it close getting back on time to watch the game here, but that's the plan. I'm two months diabetic and don't need to be around candy anyway. Ha.

I’ll have a fire going in the driveway, and the pre-game on in the garage. Neighbors across the street and next door are at my house too, and we pooled together to get a cooler full of PBR to hand out for adult trick or treating.

I got my Grover costume lined up because the baby loves it. I bought some Grainworks Brrrr that I’ll have 2 of to get a mild buzz for the game, then settle back in to eat all of my 2 year old’s Snickers bars (I’ll leave him the stuff he can chew). I’ll probably try to bang my Big Bird wife (estimating a 75% success probability based on her mood this week), then conk out in my Grover onesie.

Sounds like you've got the night won!

I would be handed divorce papers by the end of that day. To my wife, deer are precious animals and humans should never hurt them. She even cries at every time we pass road kill.

She may be a little bit on the crazy side...

And my wife gets upset when I go hunting and don't come home with a deer. She sees them all the time around our property and wonders what kind of a hunter am I that I come back without one. I think they have a calendar and prance around the property the day before and after hunting season.

But, at any rate, your wife does know you're rooting for Bengal TIGERS, right? I mean, they aren't exactly known as vegetarians.

I DID say she's a bit on the crazy side. Hispanic if it helps paint the picture.

Working but leaving early (hopefully) and meeting friend at the Elks club where there will also be costume party going on.

Not sure what's cooking but certain there will be a spread laid out.

Hopefully the band does not start until after the game, thinking it may not per most members are Bengal fans.

The water tastes funny when you're far from your home,
yet it's only the thirsty that hunger to roam.
