Hey, where'd you get that cool "ss?" But isn't it "ei" sounds like "i" and "ie" sounds like "e?" I thought the poo poo word made an "i" sound not an "e" sound. Or is that a Nord v Sud thing? My German teacher was a douche, so he may have taught us all wrong about vowels and pronunciations.
I used to think they called it "Wackenhut" Security because the guards sat out in those little huts wacking it.

I know that is what i did when I was a security guard.

You're correct, that was my typo. Scheiße is the correct spelling.

And to get the ß, you type Alt+0223
Ää Ëë Öö Üü

Those Alt codes are: 0196, 0228, 0203, 0235, 0214, 0246, 0220, 0252

Very helpful for the American on a PC without a German keyboard. Or you can be lazy and through an e after the vowel to simulate the umlaut, and just use a double-s instead of ß, which is really the direction they are going in Germany anyway. Even my German keyboards don't have the ß.

Well, I was all set to type danke schon, baby danke schon complete with umlauts but I am on Der Apfel and those codes don't do the arbeit or I am zu viel ein dumbkopf to figure them out. Wiedersehen...
Here is a photo I took of an actual business in South Texas:

The thumb nail is too small to see and when you click it it doesn't do anything. What does is say?
Pho Kimmy

Great Pho though.....

When I lived in Cleveland, there was also the Pho King Restaurant....

Never heard of that Pho King place.

I'd be afraid if I ordered the Happy Family I would get something like this:

Ha Ha! Well, if they were sammichin' me that would be one thing. Sammichin' Mike Meyers - I might lose my appetite. And if I was hungry enough and it was just Fuk Mi and Fuk Yoo sans Austin I would say, "Girls, I gotta eat something first. Then, you've got a half hour to have your way with me, because I know a half hour after eating Chinese I am going to be hungry again!"
There originally was a Chris Steakhouse. Ruth bought it, and kept the name. For some reason I don't remember, she had to move locations, and for some reason wasn't allowed to use the name Chris Steakhouse so she made it Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
"Mo Pho Vietnamese Cuisine."

Ha ha! I am picturing their customers ordering:

Sam: "I'd like some of that salty Mo Pho I had last time I was here. Bob what are you going to have?"

Bob: "You know me, I love some spicy Mo Pho. Give me the number 4 - extra spicy!"
