Granted, with Andre Smith's history, it's a toss up on which is more likely between him being hurt and him being out of shape.
I hope it works out for him and us but sometimes you gotta wonder, if the guy is willing to put in the work or if he is just boo-boo prone.....
Well hell, I freaked yesterday when I saw Smith (Derron) was hurt cause I thought they was talking about Dre. But now him and B. Wilson too? What the hell is going on with the Safeties? Vigil plays D, did they use him as a TE.

When your plan A is shifting an aging guy with significant weight and injury history to a new position, I'd hate to see what plan B is.

I'm choosing to be optimistic, because for my own mental health I will not start becoming cynical on July 31.
Everything I have heard is Trey Hopkins was pushing to be the starter anyways. I think the issue is now the lack of a swing Tackle if he appears to be injury prone. I think we will grab a cut at tackle or maybe a vet.
