Watched it on NFL network They are live at Bengals camp. Johnson got caught up in a pile in 9 on 7 drills. Was his right knee. They carted him off the field.

Every time we give a big contract......
Hopefully it isn't serious, but he looked like he was in pain.

He walked to the cart under his own power.
Then was carted to the facility. That's a good sign.

I'd expect the worst honestly.
Hopefully our other D-Ends can fill the void left behind. As long as Geno Atkins is back on top, our defense will be better than it was last season, which could be all we need.

Hobson seems to think it's just a sprain but I am still holding my breath. Dunlap had the same type of injury in 12 I think but missed the first two weeks.

Not the news I wanted to read today, but these things happen.
Hoping for a quick recovery and that to be the last of it!

So, did Whitworth just blow him right down the field?

If he is done for the year its a huge lost but hopefully it's not that big of an injury. His run defense is a huge part of our defense.

I guess the hope now is that Will Clarke will have made some serious strides... I have my doubts though.. are there still any pass rushers on the market?

Wow!!! That stinks!!! All we can do is hope it's not that serious. At least him walking off gives us a little hope.

Marvin says he thinks he is going to be "OK".

Prelims show no major damage per Hobs on twitter... pulling for ya, MJ!

Am I the only person who, upon hearing that an entire practice was going to be aired, envisioned a cog rolling away on a cart?

I honestly can't trust any injury report from this organization.
"good" could mean 12-16 weeks when you think it means 4-6.

Marvin Lewis says that right now it looks like Michael Johnson "will be OK." He'll still have evaluations. #Bengals

Sounding more and more like sprained MCL

Looks like he may have dodged a bullet. You'll never know though until you see him on the field next. Burfict was only supposed to miss 2 games.

More of ML's vague bullshit makes me more worried, if anything.
Next week: "He'll be back when he'll be back, next man up!"
