Call this a quick throw away thread.

Did anyone happen to see the OKST/Texas game today?  

Texas has a DB named AJ Green.  I wasn't watching the game but it was on in the house and it seemed like every time I got within earshot of the tv, I heard the announcer say AJ Green.  That is one whacky coincidence.

AJ18 is not old enough, obviously, for the other kid to have been named after him. And AJ Green is not exactly John Smith.  I was just struck by the chances of such a thing happening.  Could just be me.

But you could call the Texas kid the next AJ Green and be absolutely right.

So, now I'll be rooting for AJ the younger to get to the NFL so AJ Green could cover AJ Green.  That ain't gonna happen every day.

My bad. turns out little AJ plays for OK St. He's a sophomore CB. Have no idea if he is an NFL prospect.

The name alone sounds studly. Something like a character in a war novel!

Someone a long time ago in this forum said for once they'd like to live a day as if they were AJ Green. I think I concur, lol.
