What was Brown's record against the Steelers, though? Was it better than Merv's? Did you know Merv is only 8-23 against the Steelers? I betcha didn't know that!

A couple obvious things stand out:
Only two head coaches have won postseason games in franchise history; Sam Wyche and Forrest Gregg, both of whom are the only coaches to reach the Super Bowl with the Bengals.
Paul Brown and Marvin Lewis have the same amount of postseason wins as Bengals head coaches. However, Brown went 9-5 (.643) in 14 postseason games with the Cleveland Browns.

Not that crazy. Paul Brown took over an expansion team and made the playoffs 3 times in 8 years. It was not only harder to make the playoffs it was much harder to get an expansion team off the ground pre free agency. He only had 3 cracks at the playoffs and was up against great teams each time.

Paul was 4-8 versus the Steelers, 4-2 at home.
In only 6 games, Paul had twice as many home wins as Marvin over the Steelers.

Paul Brown has been dead for 26 years and he still knows more about coaching football than Marvin.

Counting playoffs, Marvin has a 2-15 record at home vs the Steelers. That's beyond pathetic.
Nice try at a spin but no cigar !

You are comparing an expansion team with an established team. Plus you just can't write off all those championships Paul Brown coached. He's got a ton of them.

So Paul Brown was 0-6 in Pittsburgh.

Marvin's so conservative, he even wore his neck roll as a collar.

PB and ML. Yeah, they're practically the same guy.

Looks like Lando Calrissian in pads

Paul Brown, Marvin Lewis, AND Zac Taylor all have the same amount of playoff wins as Bengals HC.
