Paul Guenther clearly wanted to be HC. He's not going to get that now in Cincinnati, so why not go where you're wanted? We know he's loved by both of the Grudens.
I can definitely see him in Oakland/Vegas and making that defense into a respectable defense. He also gets arguably the best pass rusher in the league in Khalil Mack.
Or he gets to join Jay in DC, who also has room for improvement on defense.

Excellent idea. And tell Paul Alexander to make sure the door doesn't hit him in the ass on the way out. His insistence on keeping better players off the offensive line has hurt us for years. It's no coincidence that when we got an actual NFL lineman at left tackle, we were instantly better, even if he is a converted guard. And Westerman looks like he can play, too.
