BACKERS: Here’s how they’ll start Friday. Middle linebacker Rey Maualuga, WILL Vincent Rey and SAM A.J. Hawk. Emanuel Lamur, last year’s SAM, is playing the nickel.
I have been doubting Hawk, but I would be happy if he ends up being an upgrade for our LB corps.
What i like about Hawk is he is solid, he is not a one trick pony. He can cover and tackle.
Unlike Lamur last year who i was predicting to be a fine player for us...
Boy was i wrong, i hope this year Lamur plays much better for us in the nickel.
