Is there a thread about Dalton's thumb injury yet? Did I miss something? The latest update (from 18 minutes ago) says the severity is unknown. We aren't on pins and/or needles about our starting QB's right hand...that says a lot.

It's a Sprain.. X-Rays came back negative

With it being a sprain that might have been the alignment he needed to complete more passes.

I’m hearing amputation might be necessary.

I'm hoping for Driskel in the next game. Let Dalton be the backup the rest of the year. Oops, I meant to say "heal the rest of the year."

Seasons over let him recover. He hasn’t been lighting up lately anyways. We face the broncos and they are coming off beating Pitt and chargers so yeah. No need to stress at this point. We’re on to next season.

I’d rather see what Driskel is than watch anymore of Dalton anyway. I hope the guy heals well and goes on to find success with another team, because he isn’t going to find it here. He was drafted and molded to the image of Marvin Lewis and his play mirrors the way he was coached. If a change of scenery and coaching can get that stink off of him and rewire his brain I think he could do well. This Marvin Lewis built version of Andy Dalton just doesn’t cut it.
