I certainly wasn't pimping them.....just offering an explanation as to why the yards weren't great, but the scoring was decent....and pointing out that the defense had technically only bailed us out once.

Decent is practically a synonym of average.
And technically, in the NFL, 15 is above average.
It's pretty hard to be ranked last in EVERY category.
