I guess it comes down to do we want to beat sooner or later? It really benefits the Ravens because the Bengals are going to lose to the Steelers so at the start of the game its not a must win. As the games progress the scoreboard could be a detriment to both teams.

Well, they have a good shot at setting a record on Sunday:

By allowing 16 points in the second quarter, they raised their season total to 200, which, according to @pfref , is tied for most points allowed in any quarter since at least 1940, which is far back as the site goes.

According to holic it appears we are going to be making some bad history. The NFL has to make sure as many people see that as possible.
