ie They know that if they just show up they'll beat us and don't spend time watching tape because we run largely the same outdated scheme.

They know that the Bengals never used the TE properly when they had them and could never guard against a TE.
...Their fans don't find this funny. Their DC has been under fire all year and this is going to go over like a lead balloon.

Well, that just makes it that much better, doesn't it?

I mean it kind of does, I am reading their message board right now and literally laughing at my desk. It has been pretty entertaining.
I was just getting ready to post a thread about this before I saw this one. Here are some quotes from NBCSports for anyone that wants a laugh:
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/12/28/keith-butler-commits-the-dreaded-tight-end-faux-pas/
"And here’s what Butler said about a guy who hasn’t played since September 30: “I think he’s very good. I think he’s up there. He can get deep on you. He does a good job of catching the ball downfield, all that stuff. So he’s going to be a problem for us to cover.”
"Steelers.com has removed the video, but SteelersDepot.com has obtained and posted the audio. It’s clear that this wasn’t some pre-canned interview; it was a fresh discussion taped after the loss to the Saints, and Labriola specifically mentioned the absence of quarterback Andy Dalton and receiver A.J. Green due to injury."
"Beyond Labriola and Butler, the entire Steelers.com production team (to the extent there is one) that heard the interview didn’t flinch at the notion that Labriola asks, and Butler answers, a question about a guy has been on IR for weeks."
I don't usually participate in the Smack Talk forum but there should be some good fuel for those that do. :)
You can never be too careful when putting together a game plan.
I think it speaks volumes if you look deeper into what he said.
Eifert is on the IR yet hes still in the sub conscience of a rival division coach.
that tells you right there when Eifert is healthy
hes still the guy that DC still focus on shutting down.
he didnt say Kroft or Mixon.....its Eifert.
of all the Bengals skill players hes the one that really impacts the offense the most.
Actually it tells us that the Steelers don’t give any credibility to the Bengals, at all.
Funny, but they will still beat our brains in.
I have no idea why the Steelers are even remotely concerned about the Bengals. The fat lady is going to sing the National Anthem.
The Steelers could gameplan all week to stop Tyler Perry and they'd still beat us.
