Not that I really care how it happened, but it seems this was more a mutual stepping away as opposed to a firing.

I think it was obvious to everyone after 16 years that it just wasn't going to happen with Marvin.

Marvin and Mike have too much respect after 16 years together to a public firing... obviously Mike as the owner decided to let Marvin go but to be professional they did not post a firing announcement they let Marvin give the announcement.

Wow. I actually agree with both Mike and Marvin at the same time. Makes me think anything is possible.

Marvin - I think it's time I moved on.
Mike - Ok, that makes sense.
Marvin - Wait...are you going to build a practice facility and hire a GM?
Mike - No.
Marvin - Ok, yeah it's time to move on.

Hopefully Mike moves on too. Sadly it doesn’t matter who comes inas long as he is running things.
