It also said he probably wouldn't coach this year and he is still under contract to Denver.

I'm all for it.  Let it rain all over their asses.

You know it.
Hearing Hue is out, can't be 100%

GOOD NEWS for us!!!

Actually, Austin might be a good fit for Pittsburgh.  Don't they run a good bit of Zone coverage?
News update. If it wasn't only if Vance was made HC, then maybe we have our new OC coming...

That (de)escalated quickly. Elway might not be long for Denver.

I would not mind Kubiak at all.  But it sure would be interesting to have Press Taylor calling the plays.

I hope not.. i want to stay away from nepotism.. we tended to have that under Lewis tenure, i prefer not to bring in his brother or father in law

recent history has not went well with brothers coaching together... i prefer we go for no family connection coaches.. plenty of quality coaches out there to choose from
A new name gets thrown in the mix

you mean the guy that didn't run it?
I'd assume any talk of Taylor looking at potential assistants is just due diligence on his part in case he gets an offer.

The Rams might be okay with it but would the league?

Depends on who the nepots are.  I would say it's faulty thinking to not bring in a worthy candidate just because of who his brother is.

Please no to McAdoo, some say Lazor had a punchable face, McAdoo's just wants it.

Exactly, there are exceptions to every rule.

Could the Bengals hire assistants now who aren't in the playoffs? If yes, does that mean everyone he wants to hire is in coaching in the playoffs?

All it means is they aren't announcing hires. For all we know, every position has been filled already and they are waiting for the HC announcement before announcing assistants.....
