Sometimes, as in the case of Peerman and Peko they remain on the team for things they bring to the locker room as well as the field. its those intangibles that separate them from a player who may be slightly more skilled. We saw years of bad play and poor character because of lack of leadership behind the scenes.

Definitely the players. I have a feeling that Rey M. would've been a captain if Marvin picked them.

Peko? why not a good DT on the team lol

A real possibility none of those players are on the team next year.

Because locker room leaders are not always your best players?

You'd think Geno Atkins would be a team captain by now. Maybe after this year when Peko is gone.
