The NFL season starts this week, but some Browns fans are ready to look ahead. For those not enchanted with Johnny Manziel as their franchise quarterback, they've got their eyes on a suitable replacement.

And so, there's only one goal for 2015: #FailForCardale.

After watching Cardale Jones get the starting job for Ohio State, and then proceed to carve up Virginia Tech, Browns fans want a shot at the Cleveland native -- and they're willing to punt on this upcoming season.

Fine by me.  I'm tired of losing once a year to those bums.

Heck, there are many college QB's better than Flopzel. After this season, the Browns should get first draft pick.

I wouldn't even say he "carved up" Virginia Tech. He completed 50%. OSU more hammered them on the ground.

He's from the area.  He knows what's up.  He should pull a John Elway/ Eli Manning if this happens.

I don't know where to begin with them. They were stoked about Terrance West, I've heard a few talk about how Mack being hurt wrecked their whole line and was the problem. Then I look at one of their boards and everyone is totally cool giving away West for a throw away pick. I could totally see them drafting Cardale, but as a Buckeye fan I hope not or they'll find a way to ruin him.

That performance at NYJ was just... BAD.

PLEASE draft Cardale Jones.

Great size. Great arm. Decent mobility. NOTHING ELSE. He doesn't have the accuracy or the intangibles to succeed in the NFL. There's a reason he was an average recruit out of HS, a third stringer or lower for 2 years and never saw the field other than garbage time until 2 devastating injuries.

He's always had the attributes.

This would be so Browns .
