Bengals get Chris Perry and Stacy "Franchise Tag" Andrews. Perry was key part of our '05 offense, but his career was ruined by injury. He had no real history of injury in college and won the Doak Walker award.

And, to Fred, Perry was ruined by fumblitis. Didn't he fumble like 5 times over a two game stretch?

I don't know if I could name another RB who had over 100 carries and an average of just 2.6 per carry. But even if I could I bet he would not have 20+ receptions and just average 3.6 per catch. And as a cherry on top Perry had 5 fumbles on just 124 touches.

You mean his 2nd year. He never rushed for more than 279 yards in a season. But, he did have 51 receptions in Year 2.

Dillon would have been gone so we had Rudi and Perry. Char and TJ were young.
That was really the 1st season where expectations started to rise.

Perry's receptions were crucial to the offense because back then we really did not use our TEs as receivers. In '05 Reggie Kelly had 15 catches for 90 yards.
