Per twitter. One year deal.

D line depth and quality special teamer.
Who ?
Oh thank goodness
One of my friends is a Giants fan and he told me that’s a pretty good run defender and rotational player that he wanted the Giants to design due to his versatility and improvement the past year as a pass rusher.
Yeah this is a great signing really good role player first signing outside our own I’m proud of
Who is he?
Sounds a lot like Willis to me.

There's a 6 page thread about him, and another player that came to visit, y'all should check it out.  He's not bad, good guy to have on the roster.
If it means they're not going to re-up MJ again, cool !
He's essentially a Michael Johnson replacement that can contribute on special teams and rush from the inside if he's asked to.

Seems like Giants fans wanted to keep him so I'd call this a very solid depth signing for now.
A decent special teamer, that's about it.
3 yr $21 million??

A defensive end.  Nothing special, good run defender, attempting to improve pass rush skills, good rotational player.  Nothing fancy, just a decent guy to have on the roster.
Good signing.

He won't be starting, so this is great and he'll fill in the MJ/Dingleberry role, but is probably a better run defender than those 2 guys.
His PFF rating is 66.2. Which is above average and he ranks 66th overall.

Solid pick up. He won't be a starter and will just fill the rotation. I'm more than okay with this.
I like it. Now Zach Brown please!
Good strong name.
We really did need another body at DE. But with 11 draft picks I figured we would find one in the draft. But there is not many later round DEs I like this year. So I can get behind this move. I'll take it. MJ didn't do much on special teams. Hopefully Hubbard, Willis, and Lawson improve so his snaps are minimal.
2nd on the Giants with 8 special teams stops. That will be the bulk of what he does for us.

At a lineman, he's just a body.
