The end of Scott Schebler being a regular is a blessing for this team and this offense which is truly pathetic right now.
Schebler needs a long rest out of the lineup.

Schebler's slump is ridiculous. He has never been a big star, but he has been pretty consistent over his three seasons with the Reds (.248/.323/.457) with a very decent .779 OPS.
This year he is getting very close to 100 plate appearances with a .127 avg.

That is ridiculous but what a great situation for Senzel. He doesn’t have to press to be better than what Shebs has been.

I feel sorry for the vet. I hope he comes around. Even if Senzel starts, Reds will need Schebler eventually.
