Last year Green had the second best average per catch in his career (15.1)
Actually it is tied for his second best.
2014...69 rec...1041 yds... 15.0869565217 per catch
2018...46 rec... 694 yds... 15.0869565217 per catch
May have normalized with a full 16 weeks.
Cool stat tho, thanks for sharing!
My prediction for this year.
92 receptions for 1388 yards.

Lol I would wait to see how severe his injury is first. If it's a tear or even a partial tear he could miss some time.

May have Driskell-ized.
Nice work on the stats though Fred in digging deeper. Just looking at total yards seemed to indicate a decline, but they are dependent on injuries. You've shown that he isn't declining.

Didn't they use Green on crossing routes last year because Dalton did not have time for deep throws?

Tear? Last I read, we were talking about a simple, lower ankle sprain. Did some bad news come since I last checked?

Ligament tears 6-8 weeks now.

Since they are saying 6 to 8 weeks I'm guessing its a partial tear because they haven't mentioned surgery and a grade 3 usually takes alot longer to recover.

Thanks for the update, I did however read that on different channels. That sucks, indeed. AJ takes his body seriously, as he is a true professional. I'm certain that any delays in return to action won't be on his part.

It sucks. I read earlier in the day that sprain and 4 weeks. Then BAM it's much worse.

Wow, that would be pretty good for the 10-12 games he will play.

Not to rain on your snark about the AJ Green injury, but this would be a perfect time for John Ross to step up and take some of the load off of Tyler Boyd..
