How so?
His plan isn't working so he is looking to change it, you would think the players would be happy with that

Asked if this change is enough to turn things around, Shawn Williams said, “I’m not sure. I guess we just have to re-evaluate how these next eight games go, going forward see if Ryan is going to be the answer. At this point, what do you have to lose?” #Bengals

After talking with a few players the consensus is they all have high faith in Ryan Finley and trust him with the ball. Also believe that Andy Dalton will continue to be a leader of this team and help support Finley. #Bengals

<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>Just in case anyone wants to go ask for Bengals QB Andy Dalton ... There's about $8.47 million in base salary left this year, and a non-guaranteed $17.5 million base for 2020.

Bottom line: That contract is tradeable.

Not the happiest of birthdays. If the Bengals are done with him, maybe they can do him a favor and trade him before today’s deadline.

I'm glad the Bengals are going to see what they have leading into the next draft cuz we all know they werent going to resign Dalton to a big deal but...
Someone get Finley a Sammich.
<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>Bengals need to trade Andy Dalton. Waiting to bench him right before deadline is kinda crazy - should have done it a week ago to give teams more notice. If he's not dealt by 4pm, it'll happen at the combine. He doesn't have a future there.
