Chiefs had some interest in trading for him. Bengals probably wanted a 2nd round pick in return. 2 weeks later they cut him lol.

He's a vested veteran. He'll be a free agent not a waiver pickup so his contract won't come into play for the new team

Probably needed to happen, but honestly the LBs are all lacking in talent and speed. Won't change much this year. Free up some space for next year which is a positive I guess.

Indeed. Well...now they HAVE to make changes at LB. Forced too...
