On Thursday, April 23rd, The Who will return to Cincinnati for the first time since the infamous stampede concert at the Coliseum in December 1979. They will play at BB&T Arena at NKU, a 10,000 seat venue. That's a tiny venue for a band that's in the conversation for greatest rock band in history.
I'd love to be there to see it, but the cheapest tickets are going for 350-400 bucks.
Anyone else thinking of going?
Coincidentally, it takes place on the first day of the draft, so I'll be off work. Don't know if I can pony up that kind of coin, but it seems like it would be a really cool place to see them.
