I just watched it on replay, slomo'd. The ball goes right between the palms of Tate's hands. Not even a fingertip catch. It was 100% a ball Tate needs to catch. Right through his hands.

To be fair, while that pass was a tad behind, the receiver still got both hands on the ball and should have caught that pass.
Also, that pass was NOT going for 23 yards.

Mixon bungled that drive. Should have just did a draw or screen. No business doing that.
