Agreed. I kind of like that "spin" on the onside kick. No one would want to try to touch it, but why angle it to the sideline. Just spin it straight and let both sides crash in

Yes, the onside kick, as well as special teams play as a whole, is being phased out of the game.
That’s right. They recovered 3 in a row, one of which was nullified by a penalty. Other than that, the percentage of successful onside kicks is almost 0 this year.
Btw...is there any way to check FG against percentage because it seems like nobody ever misses against us, even the long ones, but that could just be selective memory.
