Goodell just made the announcement that the draft is still on for April 23-25.

Good.  There were some GM's complaining,  As long as every team is in the same boat, which they are, onward and upward.

Part of me is leery because this is going to be the ultimate crap shoot since teams can't conduct workouts with players. There are going to be a lot of picks based solely on film. The other part of me is happy because the draft will move a lot quicker since we don't have to do a ton of interviews, photo shoots, and the jersey ceremony.
ProDays can be streamed. Interviews held on Zoom. It's not the same as being there, but we're all having to adapt in different ways.
It seems Elway and many (to most GMs) are still wanting it pushed back for scouting purposes. I bet we're ready to go!

Everybody's in the same situation.  The tape is out there for everybody.  Have personal interviews done over the phone or Skype them.

Elway, shut up and deal with it.  I sure liked him a lot better during his playing career than after it.  If Elway had Elway working for him as a GM, he would have fired Elway a few years and several failed QB picks ago.
Vegas would have been an awesome draft. I was there 6 weeks ago, stood in front of the Bellagio fountains and tried to imagine it. Bengals picking 1st of all things with Burrow on a boat. It would have been cool.

He was honestly kind of a prick during his playing days, but I gave him a pass because you could always rely on him to slap the Browns down when it counted.

You make a very good and also humorous point.
I think this actually benefits us a lot considering we were up close and personal with a lot of these players at the Senior Bowl. I would bet that our draft will be heavy with those guys who were in attendance.
I'm actually quite excited by the prospect of having an NFL Draft without the usual pony show.
Actually not everyone is in the same situation. The Lions and the Bengals will have a significant advantage on the senior bowl guys as they've worked with them and seen them practice and work for a week.

The real losers in this draft are the underclassmen who have no way other than the combine to make an impact.

Don't be surprised to see a heavy senior bowl draft from the Bengals this year.

You probably won't notice a difference other than the 30 seconds that they show the guy taking a picture with Goodlell.
