I was about to bust him for claiming he could score 12-15 points in an NBA game until he admitted that he could not guard anyone or create his own shot.

Well, he is 6'4" and lots of wide open shots are taken in the NBA.  WIDE OPEN.

Plus, he was supposedly even better at basketball in high school than he was football.
