When you make a penalty within your own 5, they shouldn't move the ball back half a yard, they should make it 1st and 15!

I always thought that 'half the distance to the goal' should be replaced by moving out the line to gain by the full yardage of the penalty.

You can hold for three straight plays without the LOS moving but 6 inches. And those 6 inches go away when the center picks up the ball to get set.

Refs were hoping that no one pointed out that they play lock had expired. They really didn't want to call that delay of game.
