He's alive? Some of the greatest music we've heard was inspired by BG. Had no clue he is still above soil? Happy Birthday BG.

I finally had the chance to see him a couple of years ago. Into his 80s already at that time and came out on stage with the energy of a 20-something. I've always loved his work but it was wild to see him live with that much energy and passion given how many years he's been on the stage!

I saw him out in your part of the country.  Snowmass Jazz Festival 1995.
