Sure hope so, only other thoughts that come to mind would be opting out of the season due to covid or holding out for a contract if they aren’t close

Mixon doesn't seem that type at all and the new CBA pays him nothing if he does opt out.

Real life big decisions? He could be buying a house for crying out loud. It's probably his contract, but it could be 1000 things.

Yeah, buying a house cause he is signing a big contract.
Perhaps we offered him a contract with a clause that states he must play in 2020. Say what you want about the Brown's but they rock at team friendly contracts

I think he’s having a rough time choosing to play or not. Or, it could be deciding what shoes to buy. Maybe he’s getting ready to cook supper and he’s not sure what to cook? He also could be deciding left or right sock to reduce friction? Tough life I guess? Regardless, hope he’s satisfied with the choice he makes.

I think it is covid19 related. I see a lot more players refusing to play this year and risk getting a possible career ending virus. Baseball is having problems containing it. Yet alone a contact sport like football.
