The Bills released veteran G Quinton Spain. A 29-year old who has been basically a full-time starter for four straight seasons is now available for teams looking for interior OL help.

If Bengals are serious about trying to win sign this man. Anyone is better than what they currently have. Last year he started all 16 games and gave up 0 sacks

Never heard of him. Why was he released? Can someone provide some background?

Because the Bills have some players coming back. He's a good guard, he gave up 0 sacks last season

Along with that, he's had a PFF grade of 60+ every season (including 84.2 in 2016 with 819 snaps) except for last season, which was 55.4 (still higher than Redmond). He's at 60.6 this year on 177 snaps.
While not a stud, I'd take him over any of Redmond, Price, Johnson, and Jordan.

Quinton Spain? He needs to be brought in for a workout no matter what because the Bengals' offensive line is on life support. I don't care if he's schizophrenic or if he has latent bedwetting issues. Just take a look. Show us you care!

I’d sign him in a heartbeat to replace a guy like Calhoun or Redmond. Could be the Bobbie Williams of this generation.

I'm all for going after Spain, and rolling with him after the bye, assuming the foot is good to go by then.

If this franchise is serious about keeping JB upright
This year then.He needs to be signed this afternoon ASAP
If they dont mind JB getting beat up.like Nicole Brown Simpson
Then by all means keep on.starting Alex Redmond and Michael Jordan. Want a drive killer....keep.Redmond in.the lineup.

We have 4 total duds. Get him in here now, if he has a pulse it's an upgrade.

It appears as if Spain may have fallen out of favor with the coaching staff for reasons unknown, though Spain had a recently deleted tweet that suggested as such.

I would totally look.at signing him, 29 ypung still with experience excels in pass blocking.

Yes, better than all of our Guards, especially in pass protection...
BRING IN QUINTON SPAIN!!!

He's probably a lot better than our OG's. Wouldnt hurt to bring him in.

Spain is WAY better than any of our Guards, 0 sacks last season and he is a proven starter that has had very good PFF
stats in the past. Need to bring in Spain now and help save Burrow and our season.

He is likely to have a lot of choices out there.

Dang, 0 sacks last season? Yeah this is a no-brainer. They need to be flying him into Cinci an hour ago.

Bills just released him. Always thought he was decent. Got to be better than what we have right now.

He's been injured most of the year
