So is Brandon Allen improving and capable of being the backup QB for us? Or is the Dallas defense that bad and backup QB is still a need?

Allen is better than Finley. But then my grandma would be better than Finley so.....
I'd say he's worth keeping around for a look next year.

The Dallas defense is horrible. Don’t use them as a yardstick by which to measure anyone’s ability.
Even Seibert's kickoffs suck. No hangtime and right to the DAL KR's chest. Just like his PATs... and performance with the Browns.
