He announced at today's presser that next year he will wear #5 in 2022.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins told @Ihartitz he was gonna change his number from 85 to 5 if he scored 10 TDs.

Well, Higgins said he's changing his number regardless. This will be his last year in 85.

Can't blame him for wanting his own identity. Chad is just so synonymous with 85.

I understand his reasoning but it does kind of bum me out. I liked the idea of having 85 on a receiver again.

However, now I kind of hope that Boyd changes his number to 3.

9 to 513 would be pretty cool.

Have your own, I completely understand. Dude is special and needs to be acknowledged as such.

I like the change, that is Chad's number.

Idk, I don’t have one, but I think it’s kind of cool for them to own an “original Higgins” jersey. He should have done it this year though, so it was just from his rookie season.
