Tiger

The guy did win the Thorpe over your favorite cornerbacks.
So why not him in round one? Just a thought.
I'm not really sure why I haven't really seen Bryant's name mentioned in the early rounds in terms of prospect rankings.
He's been pretty consistent season after season in college.

Because he's not Sauce, Stingley or Elam and his ball skills aren't as good as some of the other guys.

He's a good CB, but not worth a 1st-round pick.

If we took him the 2nd, that's perfect, but if we get Sauce in the first, don't need Bryant.

I think one could make an argument that Bryant's ball skills are up there with those guys.
Bryant - 9 INTs, 35 PBUs over 52 games
Gardner - 9 INTs, 16 PBUs over 32 games
Stingley - 6 INTs, 20 PBUs over 25 games
Elam - 5 INTs, 20 PBUs over 30 games
Booth - 3 INTs, 9 PBUs over 25 games

From what I read though, Bryant only has 4.5 speed, which is slower than preferred for an outside CB nowadays. I could see that keeping him lower than some of these other guys if true.

He was targeted a ton more, IIRC, hence the disparity. Because I didn't watch every UC game the past 2 years, I'm mainly going off of others, so it may be more opinion and less accurate.

Did want to bring up, Leon Hall (71 PD, 18 INTs) had more picks+PsD when Joseph (56 PD, 14 INTs) was here, but Joseph isn't the better cover guy and had the better ball skills.
