What? You didn't give yourself a Gatorade bath? That's what winners do.

I said this multiple weeks ago, the Bengals could win the Super Bowl and there would still be people complaining about how they won or that they didn't win by enough or now we are stuck with this coach or....
Just need to add in now that when the Bengals win the I told you so crowd out posts the good team win crowd.

I even have to cringe when I check the game day thread while we’re winning because of how unreasonable and unbearable some are….so yeah I think it’s fine to give them a little taste of their own medicine. At least they get to take this with a nice big glass of division championship.
Maybe, just maybe it’ll lead to one less ridiculous poster going crazy around here for a while when things get a little tough. If so this was a successful thread

A good line & he'll be top 2 or 3 next year. Sorry about the rant.![]()

Would you have been happy if we won a meaningless game that kept us from drafting Burrow (who obviously helps us win way more in the long run)?
Saying someone doesn't want to win if they hope for a loss to win more in the long run is kinda is kinda shortsighted.
I'm sure glad we lost a bunch of games in 2019. Aren't you?

As to shortsighted; do you think those that were upset we beat Pitt last year kinda shortsighted? It very well could have led to the current mentality of this team.
Perhaps those that didn't like our victory over the Steelers last year were just being realists.

Just because those people were wrong in that particular instance doesn't mean they weren't thinking we'd win more long term if we got better draft positioning.
Its possible to disagree with someone's outlook while also seeing WHY they have that outlook. (...and it's not because they're Bengal haters...mostly anyways)
That said, I get the frustration that comes with frequenting GD threads, and I think a lot of people are starting to hate each other based on what is said in those threads.

Hell, I've seen it this year. "If we don't win this game then I don't want to be in the playoffs".
The draft is the draft and it'll take care of itself, but I'm not going to ever hope the Bengals lose
