yes! I thought that was a great name too and kept the colors...didnt think about the howling but yes another reason.
I liked Tomahawks too but the seemed to have settled on "The Commanders" MEH
There have been millions in the military and police forces with commanders they would strongly object to..
The team slogan should be: The guys who are gonna send your kids off to war and die for someone else's wealth! That'll get the fans involved!

I actually think the name Commanders is fairly cool. It's going to be fun watching Burrow command the Bengals offense as he lights up the Commanders 42-7 for whenever the Bengals next play the NFC East.
They're a bunch of copy cats. My wife attended Washington County (Kentucky) High School and their team name is the Commanders.
I dunno.. I've had commanders before and was far from being impressed by them.. My company commander was a real piece of work..I'll leave it at that.. LOL

Even worse than the name is what they did to a classic NFL uniform. These new ones are trash. Redskins always had those classic stripes but now they look like a division 2 college team. Everything from the helmet down sucks.
Props to the Bengals because now I really see how a uniform change can go bad.
I kinda like the new uniforms. Mixed feelings about the name. Its growing on me but itll take some time.
I think overall its pretty good.
At least it’s better than ‘Redskins’.
Not a fan otherwise. The ‘W’ logo is cool, but the name and uniform suck.
