He could backup both S spots, and backup slot seeing as that he would be a slot CB if he did play there. Drafting a S that early is the Bengals FO admitting that either Bates or Bell could walk after next season. If we draft Hill, my money is on Bates leaving next off season or maybe even being traded.

Yet this does not necessarily mean think the Bengals should go this way. Just feel it needs identified and then see who falls in draft and factor in what positions can be filled later according to their draft board.

Would be fine with any of the top 4 listed being the 1st pick at 31 though.
