Got cut by the Bills and I’m fairly sure we didn’t get what we wanted from our 2nd and 3rd TEs this preseason.

But he did get cut for poor play so maybe a career resurrection could be in the cards or maybe he’s done. Looks bad also how he was given up on while in Tampa Bay.

I think Howard is just washed up. He couldn't cut in Tampa, as they kept bringing in Gronk, and eventually cut their losses with Howard. The Bills just gave him a shot at reviving his career with a change of scenery, on a contending team even, and he couldn't catch on. I'm going to say that the Bengals would likely fare no better by giving Howard a shot, either.

He is better reciever than Sample; So yes I would sign him or at least kick the tires on him.

It isn't like the guy is old or is all injured. I would give him a shot behind Hurst myself.
