Running a short, slow sweep to the short side of the field is lunacy.
Failed 4th down turns into a 6 point swing.

While true, it's important to mention that the Jets are massively running out of time to mount this comeback. Not turning that into 7 points was a big miss from the Jets perspective. One more FG from the Bengals and the Jets have to pretty much score a TD on every drive.

True, but IIRC they were down 13 to Browns with 2 minutes to go and won in regulation.
