They tried to address it with the replacement officials. The league wanted more full time guys with more accountability and their union refused, which is how we got to the replacements.
But they were so bad, the league had to fold to get the regulars back.

To be fair I see plenty of coaches all over a ref every week without picking up 15. You can also sit sad faced and meek and make your players think it's fine and you don't give a damn. Know the limits and stick up for your players!
