Tyler Eifert Comeback SZN, or no?

Hypothetical situation... say Tyler Eifert called up Zac and said, I just rest my body for two years, I am only 32, and I want to give it one more go for a ring, I will run it back as the backup TE to Hurst.... I never played with a QB in my entire career like Joe Burrow, I want this shot.

2019 he played 16 games
2020 he played 15 games --> he didnt end his career with an injury... he walked away healthy.

Are we in for that, or no?

When Eifert was healthy... I still don't think I ever saw a TE with better hands, and range for making big catches.

Also....... 85 is opening back up for him?

Is it actually that crazy though? If he did it for league minimum. If he was in shape... you are telling me you want Wilcox over Eifert again in that game?
Im giving this thread 1 star. Take a bath

I'm going to bookmark this thread for later.
I would rather have Wilcox or a rookie. I will pass.
Eifert broke his fibula reading this thread!
Dude is broken down and done

I get nostalgia and holding onto the past (like bringing Marv back), but at least Marv is still a capable and decent coach.

but THIS!?

Tim Krumrie is only 62.... hear me out.....
I’d rather discuss singing Ocho so he can get a ring. And I don’t even want to discuss that lol.

There are some players who didn’t do much that this board has been obsessed with. Eifert is one of them dudes.
No more retreads.

What makes you think he is broken down? He played essentially injury free his last two years? And walked away because he was legit, on the worst team in football back to back years. Bengals got Burrow and Jags for Lawrence. And he was over it.
I would rather bring Geno back. Could you imagine a healthy Geno with this defense.
How about Rodney Holman?
What about Sean Brewer?

Geno is roughly 3 years old than Eifert.

Still find it odd people think its that insane, when Mercedes Lewis is 38 going on 39 playing at a high level in the NFL.

I feel Zac isn't really interested in signing any 30+ year old weapons.
Eifert would probably sprain his wrist signing the contract.
It probably doesn't feel like it, but Eifert's been away from the NFL for over two years.
He's also going to turn 33 years old around when the season starts.

I would still consider Eifert over someone like Sample or Wilcox (I really don't like them), but I'd probably look at a draft pick over Eifert, personally.
