Former Bengal Gio Bernard has announced his retirement after 10 years in the NFL.

Good career for Gio and wish him the best in retirement. He seemed to never hesitate to put his body on the line, even when clearly being hung out to dry.

Load of respect for Gio.

Maybe the best run made by a Bengal. Or at least the best one I've seen.

I will always love Gio. 

Congrats to Gio on calling it a career. He was not only a favorite Bengal of mine for what he did on the field, but his efforts to improve the lives of those in his native island are tremendous. Glad that he still is in relatively good health for the rest of his future ventures in life.

Was one of my favorites. We missed his blocking ability after he left. He made some impressive runs in his time.

Looking at the Carson Palmer trade, we really could have done better..
We hit on Gio but Dre K was mediocre. Is he even in the league still?
If they chose a better player at 1 the trade would have worked out better.

I salute him. He should be proud of his career.

That was an amazing run alright, sure wouldn't think he would of been in the End Zone the way that started lol

Very good career Gio had for sure. Wish him the best in his retirement from football, was a damn good RB at picking up the blitz.

Good player who always seemed like a great guy/teammate.
Congrats to him on playing a decade in the NFL.

Always liked Gio. I hope they have him as a Ruler of the Jungle in the next few years.

I LOVED watching Gio play. I didn’t realize how fun having a versatile back was until Chris Perry came around (when healthy) and when Gio got here it was just pure entertainment watching him play.

He wasn’t amazing but he was for sure exciting.

Classy guy. Very good player. Much respect.

LOVED Gio.

Hell of a player that always took the backseat to other guys and just did his job, even though he knew he deserved more.

I remember seeing him out one time was a restaurant and he remembered me from training camp.

We got a selfie that's buried somewhere on Facebook.
