And then you see how McDaniel uses Tyreek…

Isn't 5'8 Marcus Jones. Those throws become 75 25 .The Browns CB knew what routes Chase and Tee were running. Plus every throw was to the
Boundary. Helloooo Burrow and Zac..the Boundary is like a 12th man. JB tried a back shoulder throw to Chase which Emerson easily defended

Usually his right foot “plant and push off” technique is the best in the league but yesterday Joe couldn’t set his feet to throw. Yes, part of this was the effect of the pass rush but even when he had time his technique was clearly different; tentative, even.

Our first 3 times we missed on 3rd and short, we called the following plays:
A short Pass
A run
A long pass
The same folks were yelling about how Zac made the wrong call each time. I can only assume they thought Zac shoulda called fake punt

Our defensive coverage was bad too...according to this. Watson just couldn't take advantage.
This chart doesn't put blame on the line like the board is. This is on playcalling/gameplanning/and guys getting open.
Perfectly covered play % from this weekend. The Browns and Bengals playcalling were on opposite ends of the spectrum yesterday. Mike McDaniel was in his bag which was easily visible yesterday. Some not so great defensive performances from CHI/LAC/PHI pic.twitter.com/8f34h6Z0se

It doesnt help the team to have him come out there and play like a bad high school QB. It doesnt help Burrow recover from an injury. We cant have another repeat performance like that against Baltimore. If he is injured, he needs to sit.

If Burrow wasn’t the highest paid player in NFL history I’d feel bad for him never having a good coach in his entire career, pro or college. I guess you could count Urban Meyer but he was riding the pine.

Whatever the reason, be it injury, lack of practice, etc... if he cant play better due to whatever reason it was, he is not helping the team being out there. Put someone else in there until Burrow is ready.

They play these guys again at the end of the year I what could be a very meaningful game. The quarterback had been hurt for a month. The starters have seen little to no preseason action.
It's a dangerous thing to do IMO, as that kind of approach gets guys hurt. I just can't really come up with a logical answer for the play of the qb, the offensive play calls, and the undeniable listlessness they showed. This is especially true on offense.
To boot, none of them seemed a bit concerned in post-game interviews. The body language and approach were just strange for an actual NFL game.
