I know this isn't even in the realm of the same scenario, but I hyperextended a knee in high school. They slapped a brace on it, I only missed one practice. I kinda figured he'd try to go if it wasn't too severe. I'd probably limit his snap count, but they really need him to be out there in critical situations. To be fair, RG is a whole different animal from DE. We'll see how it goes I guess.
