Pitchers resume isn’t all that impressive outside of the last 3 years (which could be and likely is because of Burrow). Calihan was young but had worked for other teams and coached other qbs successfully. Pitcher was a scout with Indy. Has he coached anywhere else on a pro level. Some point to college, but I’d caution those to remember the level of college and completion.

QBs coach Dan Pitcher has been groomed and more than ready.
The front office will need to ensure the deal gets done as Pitcher weighs other opps, but this is his OC job.
From last year, Joe Burrow on Dan Pitcher: “We mesh so well in the meeting room and on the sideline. We have a great working relationship. I say this all the time but I couldn’t ask for a better group of coaches for my skill set and what I do.”
