Bengals get 2 extra 6th rounders #208 and #214 for the Bell and Perrine pick.
208 is the first comp pick of the round...Bell was expected to be a 5th round...games missed with injuries hurt
the Perrine pick was projected to be a 7th rounder

So that means we have 3 6th round picks, correct?
Synric already spelled it out in another thread. Looking like the Bengals got ripped on getting a 5th round selection.

Maybe they could burn one of those on another punter.

sorry, didn't see it in the other thread

It wasn't a thread about the Comp. picks, just one of the other current threads. But yeah, we take a hit on the 5th we should have got for Bell, and then get a slight bump from the 7th that we should have received for Perine. Historically, the Bengals have found some players in the 6th round that were able to hang on for a few years. Bernard Scott still comes to mind, even though he was 15 years ago.

Yes, yes it does. Perhaps if they want to jump up a spot or two along the way, they might come in handy for more than just a back of the roster guy.

Awesome, thanks Sunset. Yeah, that is what I would do if we could move up a bit in packaging our 6th rounders in a trade in case some
player falls that we didn't see falling.

I always liked Bernard Scott.

Wait……why don’t we get anything for Bates? Don’t tell me the N. Scott pickup voided that. Bates went to the pro bowl this year.

Not your fault I buried it in another thread.

Okay this is a good point. I was a little blah about to 6th round picks. But punting competition and maybe another special teams contributor.

Sorry. I looked for one and didn't see it.
Trade all 3 6th rounds for 1 4th rounder

If the moment arises, and there is a player there that will make the team better, I'd be all for that.

Very doubtful, those three 6th rounders warrant a very low 5th rounder. Wont come close to a 4th.
There is a chance that the NFL Management Council made a mistake which would help us. A review may be warranted.
