Per Schefter the NFL plans on having a game on Christmas Day this year which falls on a Wednesday. You would have to think the 2 teams involved would have their bye week the week before to even make this work.

Maybe they will have a double header the week before on Thursday.

For example 
Steelers vs Bengals 
Eagles vs Cowboys 
Christmas 
Bengals  vs Cowboys 
Steelers vs Eagles

2 games on christmas this year

Sounds like the teams will play on the Saturday before. So essentially a Sunday->Thursday turnaround.

I am sure they will find a way to make it work, love watching my Bengals on Christmas.

Wow. This sure beats watching the NBA all day on Christmas. People will watch just like Thanksgiving.

apparently NFL will auction these games to the highest bidder. So if you can even watch will be up in the air

Before it is all said and done, I think Mark Cuban is going to be right in the end.  He may be a little off on the timing, as we are now at the 10 year point, but it is starting to look eerily correct.
