Where is the world was EDLC going on 1st base with Indy in 2nd. Another base running blunder to add to all the others. How many runners have the Reds lost on base this year? Ridiculous, EDLC never learns.

You don't need a but. You make it sound like you have to convince me about moving on from Benson. I never once defended Benson. He was bad in the minors, he's bad now. 2023 in a smallish sample size was the anomaly. This year is a lot closer to who he has always been on the back of his card.

We need to fire coaches and just bench some players. I can't stand giving away outs and doing stupid shit because you can't execute the basic fundamentals of the sport. EDLC gets picked off for what feels like the 10th time or so despite having a runner on base ahead of him. India doesn't tag up and go to third on a fly ball to the deep right corner. Just terrible fundamentals and unacceptable from professionals.

Home plate is brutal. What should have been a strike 3 turns into a 2 run single and a 31 pitch inning for Lodolo who is being taken out now. Such a garbage strike zone.

Bell should be fired by wasting Fraley only to pull him when Marlins pull right handed pitcher to being in a left handed, only to bat Marty instead.
All for nothing as Marte is worthless.

Now we have 1 bench player left and give up the DH.

In the last couple games, EDLC has been picked off 2nd, thrown out try to steal home, thrown out stretching a double into a would be triple, and today, thrown out on 1st, wandering to far from the bag.

It would be disaster if the Reds lose this game and go 5-5 to finish the 1st half, against some of the worst teams in MLB

And your point? He’s a 22 year old All Star who’s leading the majors in steals (by a lot), top 20 in home runs, and yet you’re choosing to whine about him of all people right now in a game he’s had the only runs batted in.

When you swing for the fence every time, you will get your home run, but will also strike out a lot. He leads in strike outs with 127, over 1/3 of his at bats are strike outs. To go with 17 errors and thrown out on the base paths numerous times.

At this point it should be a Reds 2-1 win so it would really be a crime if the Reds lose this because the home plate ump missed an obvious strike 3 which lead to a 2 run single on the next pitch which shouldn't be on the board right now.

Didn't help that David Bell decided to use 7 relief pitchers to pitch 4.1 innings. Eventually you're going to hit a guy who isn't feeling it today. 

You can't play that "if they called that a strike game" because India got a ball on Strike 3 before his double before EDLC's HR. There's always going to be missed pitches here or there. You can't score only 2 runs against one of the worst teams in baseball and expect to win often.

Don’t forget the Reds are down to 1 bench player, so they could pitch hit for Benson

Once again the Reds turn a not that good of a pitcher (near 5.00 ERA) with zero wins in 18 starts into Cy Young.
